The Place I Call Home

Portsmouth NH & the surrounding Seacoast towns, enable its inhabitants to live a life that is rich in texture and deeply rooted in history.  There are a wide array of amazing opportunities & experiences just waiting to be had.  There is a little something to offer for so many who would seek out such a place.

I can speak to the nature of “my” Portsmouth.  My family has resided in this town continuously since 1810.  My two sons mark the seventh generation, and I believe that they will find a community here that is interesting, caring & spirited.

My town is summer.  It is the sound of laughter spilling from backyards and pools, or dancing across the hot sands of the beach.  It’s Cookouts, Prescott Park, Market Square, Leary Field, eating & drinking, tugboats and decks.  There is music to be heard and rays to be captured on closed eyes, while sitting content in a restaurant on a lively river.

Fall, beautiful in its transformation from too short summers, turning to winter and all the while framing & silhouetting an always moving picture.  A vibrant & evolving town that somehow takes steps forward while keeping its footing in a past not forgotten by many who truly call this “home.”
